I bought a paint gasket kit from RPM Reproduction Parts in Canada that I assumed was complete, and by complete, I mean it would include gaskets for hood turn signal indicators, park lights, sidemarker inner lenses (not just the outer housing-to-body gaskets), reverse lights and license plate light.

Most of the gasket kits for the '70 Charger I see sold everywhere online include this 41-piece kit, in which I've highlighted in red all the gaskets I need to proceed with my reassembly. However, what I received with part HJ192 only includes this 21-piece kit that's missing a ton of important stuff.

Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have a part number of a proper kit that includes all the essential gaskets that I need? Or even have spares to help me out?

Looking at the kit I received, I don't even know what those 4 white circular gaskets are for; they're not even part of the "full" kit. I definitely want to avoid shelling out another $150 CAD after shipping on what is presumably a complete kit from pictures only to have this limited kit also missing all the essential pieces I need.

Pretty sure the 4 round white gaskets are for the rear bumper mounts.

I've bought from DMT a few times before, never had issues. This seems like an issue where an online product is showing items in a picture that aren't in the kit. RPM told me the kit I bought had at least 49 pieces in it, so they must have some incorrect info. I may have to return the kit I got from RPM and buy the one from DMT, and hope it includes everything as shown...even though I now only need a quarter of the actual items as I have all the rest. Annoying to say the least.

The last time I ordered from DMT, they would NOT ship to Canada (a couple of years ago). Jim's wife, Wanda?, said they had problems with Canadian orders, and just do not do them anymore. She went on to say that their down-the-road neighbour, Roseville Dodge still shipped to Canada. She said to call Roseville and ask for John in Parts Department and order the needed DMT parts through him. It sounds convoluted, but it worked for me. Roseville Dodge does this for no mark-up in price.

National Moparts, Beaverton Ontario.
I have known them since 1989. They handle DMT.
I have tried to purchase from RPM a few times. Things just didn’t work out unfortunately.

I don't want to slag RPM because I've had several orders with them go through with no issues. This particular problem seems to be an issue with a product not being as advertised. I don't want to blame RPM for just selling it to me, but now that this has surfaced, I expect them to open an HJ192 gasket kit package and VERIFY exactly what's included in that package, and correct what's being shown in the kit images.

I've given them the benefit of the doubt thus far with my complaint, sent them an email with images of what I received, and what's supposedly included in the kit, and was told their technicians will look into it and get back to me. I'll give it until Monday.

Thanks for the info about National Moparts in Ontario, 440 4 speed...it says something that you're in Saskatoon (where RPM is located) and you buy from Ontario instead...

Most all vendors are selling you the Detroit Muscle Technologies gaskets. Here's the link to their site. They also sell gaskets separately so what you're missing could be ordered from them. Jim is a member on here but seldom frequents the site. Good luck.
