Hi all,

So there is a rod that hangs down from the shift linkage near the transmission that rotates to move the gear selector bracket fwd / back. We have all that, but our is just dangling in space and it would make sense if there was some sort of bushing at the end of that rod that mounts to the tranny somewhere.

I hope I'm making sense..... Anyway we have a lot of parts, but I don't know what to look for. If someone has a pic, or can point me to one of the linkage parts near the transmission end for a console shift car I'd sure appreciate it.

Thank you,

Zancat

I need the same part, hopefully we can both find one. It's a pretty simple part. I've thought about making one.

That's the part almost everyone forgets to grab.

Check local yards for cordoba/fury/Mirada or get the ebay repro for $35 plus shipping.

IIRC, there are two different ones- centered hole and offset hole.

is it in this picture under shifter assembly?

long flat piece with bushing in end and other end has 2 studs that go through trans to hold it on
