Just a heads up to anyone that hasn't paid their child support in MO. Pay your child support or you will no longer to be able to get and tags or permits from the Conservation department.

There be no fishing, hunting, ect. until it's paid up.

Found out today when I went to get my fishing license. No more paper licenses either. Going to be credit card now.

Did you get denied your license for not paying or was that just general info you got?

Ought to be you go directly to jail card untill you decide to pay anyway.
Lakes in the back yard. Whats the licence for?

Good, bust those deadbeat dads and cut off their balls.

I got my license just fine, after a little aggravation of requests for new info.

I just thought it was a good thing to point out.

Why does anybody need a "heads up" to pay their child support and why is this a "clampdown"? I don't get what spurred this thread. I'll be generous and assume it's simply passing on general purpose information to potential deadbeats.

Nothing new about this. Drivers licenses are denied also. Maybe when people take responsibility for the children they bring into this world we wouldn't have a problem

I had a friend in Wisconsin that went to sign up for Social Security......seemed like he forgot to pay child support for his whole divorced life!!!! Owed like 40 grand in back support....is being deducted from his social security check....guess who is still working now!!! Deadbead dads beware!!!

What good does jail do - now they can't pay and they live on your dime !!

Let’s not forget it’s a 2 way street. My dad asked for child support, got it and put that money in a savings account for me. When I turned 18, he gave it to me to put into my own savings account.

Good man

CA will garnish your wages, so at least the kids get the money (of course said deadbeat has to have a job) If I'm not mistaken they take extra as penalty at that point

I'm not big on govt. intruding in our lives much
but that doesn't sound like a bad policy...

I'd like to see a stricter policy even...

There's way too many deadbeat/dads especially in the inner-shitty's
that were basically just sperm donors

But it goes both ways too...
There's some real deadbeat mothers, baby producers,
basically just check collectors {welfare, alimony/child support & otherwise}
spending the money, that's intended for raising the kid on BS stuff,
that has nothing to do with raising a kid...

If you don't pay, you shouldn't get to play...Or drive...Or register a vehicle, etc. etc. etc.
