While I'm guessing... I might as well throw my 1/8th mile predictions out! I could be wildly off...but for the sake of argument here goes
** 69 Super Bee - 7.84 @ 87.7
** 67 GTX - 7.69 @ 89.2
** 70 Sport Satellite - 7.97 @ 88.3
** 69 Coronet R/T - 8.34 @ 84.1

2 weeks away.... Lets see how far off I am!

Liking it. Those numbers are on the ground so those are good estimates. Over 300 at the wheels is actually a lot of power for a street car.

Your in the 12s with some of those 1/8ths bro. Pretty quick.

69 Bee 270 WHP
67 gtx 285 WHP
70 sport 280 WHP
69 RT 270 WHP
Alot depends on the Brand of the Dyno, if its a Dyno Jet my #'s will be a little more.

It is a Dynocom Dyno so it should read even alittle higher than a DynoJet. Ill try to get my Super Bee on a different kind later to make a comparison. A friends Duster with a 360 .030 with ported magnum heads, .530ish lift Hyd Roller with a 904 and 3.21s made 317hp and 376tq on this very dyno.

I was wrong about my brothers Coronet R/T it has a Torker intake and he just swapped in some header to boot. Here it is on the first start up today. Should sound great after a trip to the exhaust shop!

I'll bite,,,,,,what is a sreet car? When is a street car a race car driven in the street?
Forget my brick,think DRAGWEEK!

Oh man...looks like you've gotta race car that you drive on the street. Bitchin! Hard to define street car huh. Depends on what a guy is willing to put up with when it comes to manners and drivability I guess. Yeah.... dragweek.

Oh man... the mobile ego buster comes out!! I think you’re on the optimistic side, but hope everyone does well and has fun!!

I am NOT saying your guy is, but there are "hero" dynos and dyno operators out there that give optimistic numbers, because customers are frequently unhappy when the numbers aren't as big as they would like.
Imho, the best dyno is an accurate weight, with driver, and the finish line mph. Traction varies, shifting mistakes are made, etc.,but mph is the best indicator of actual power.
Chassis dynos often have trouble getting accurate numbers on cars with auto trans and race converters , finish line stripes don't have that problem.
Try to get a good weight at the track if possible, then plug in numbers at Wallace calculators.

That’s the good part, this is gonna be done at the track on the dyno he has a scale system so, we should get some good data out of the experiment. Seeing as how we plan to run these down the 1/8th all day should get a good idea if nothing else... food for thought.

It's crunch time and all of these cars are fighting back.... charging problems started on 2 of them, starter killed over in my Super Bee, the Coronet went on its maiden voyage yesterday which came with a couple hiccups, the Sport Satellite converter was no where near enough, so that just got changed... one thing after another! But, we are all determined! The GTX is running like a top, as is a friend's comparable '73 Cuda, who just ran 7.60 @ 90mph... Saturday should be a blast and I hope some of you make the trip!
