Does any company sell a modern radio that looks like a stock radio for a 68 b body charger fo a decent price. I dont really wanna get rid of my stock radio because its really nice n theres nowhere to really hide the aftermarket one i already have but i dont have any other options. All i really need it for is an ipod hookup. Thanks

Option 1: Do it yourself kit
(The USB cable is connected to the back and hangs down under the Radio)

Option 2:
You need a replacement radio;

Those are nice but wayyy outta my price range. I think im gonna mount mine under the dash. If it looks out of place oh well. Gotta have the tunes while crusin. Thanks guys

Another site to plug. http://www.garytayman.com/

I had Gary 'do mine'. Very happy, but as Photon440 said, "Of course, what you call 'decent price' can be subjective."

I left the stock radio as is and put an amp under my seat. I run an ipod into that and the rear 6x9s. Done.

What type of amp did you use? I ve never heard of an ipod plugging into an amp. That would be a great idea for an ipod only hookup.. Thanks

If i connect it to the amp how do i control the fade so i dont blow the front speakers? Arent the rears more powerful?

I have a friend in S.C. who uses your factory radio AM OR AM/FM. He makes the inside of the factory radio modern and includes an ipod plug you can mount concealed say in the ashtray. No cut up dash or mess. You can contact Carolina Trim Shop in Spartanburg, SC. He can help you with a nice modern factory looking update.
