Hi Mopar people

I would like to ask if any of you know if it would be possible to modify a set of original upper control arms, relocating the ball joints and allowing for more caster?

The reason I'm asking is that tubular UCAs most likely won't be approved for road use here in Denmark if the car did not come with them originally!

Would be much more cost effective to get Moog offset upper control arm bushings.

Thanks RustyRatRod

I have been looking at the Moog solution and read about it on several foras. I will most likely try them out, only I read that they didn't allow as much extra caster as a set of tubular UCAs would!? Thats why I got the idea of altering a set of original UCAs. Or maybe find a set of UCAs from a diffrent Mopar model that would fit and allow for the extra caster!? My car is a 71 RR btw!

The additional caster the Moog pieces add, is dependent on how much caster you have now. Generally, you can add about 2* caster if you install the front bushings with the offset to the outside and the rear bushings with the offset to the inside.
