A 1971-72 B-body 4.10 Dana (mounting pad hole to hole 47.3") in as-run/pulled condition. This thing seems like an absolute time capsule. The ring gear is dated June 2, 1970, the axle manufacture date is 9/15/70 and the build date is 9/16/70. Axle casting # C34155. Passenger side axle tube # 603222. The brake drums still have the factory red paint on them, the emergency brake cables are intact and work. You could eat off the inside of the differential cover. It spins around with a finger worth of pressure. I don't know it's full story but it was evidently pulled early in life and stored responsibly. One of the bonded brake shoe pads is missing and a bolt is broke off in the yoke but other than that it's in amazing shape.
I was going to use it in my Challenger but upon inspection I can't bring myself to modify it. Obviously, this is a very rare piece; so much so that I am going to pass it along to someone who needs this for their 6 pack or Hemi restoration. It is located in Pa and I have an idea of how to ship it.
I'd like $3600 for it. ACCEPTING BEST OFFER
