My lifters came back next day air today courtesy of Isky. Put it all back together tonight. Looks like I'm good to go. Probably run the regular bracket program Saturday. Then stay overnight with a few cold ones and a campfire. Come on by if your there.

Good luck!
Love a good fire and some beers.
Ill be busy winning in PA. Maybe next time

Ill be there. I was going to bring my Dart, but I think ill bring the 71 Charger. much slower car, but probably more consistent. The Dart goes 11.0's, but I had the Charger at Martin last week for the test n tune and went 13.80's with sticky tires. Not sure how the classes will break down, but I could do street class with the Charger

I'll be running Pro/foot brake. Should be 9.1-9.2

Can you compete with the transbrake/Box guys? I ran this event last year, and was a no box event. I went out first round getting beat buy one of them open roadster cars, and he cut a .0 something light. I just couldn't get a good enough reaction time on the foot.

Yes, I've been a foot braker my entire racing career. Went 7 rds in its last outing at Pittsburgh in No Box for runner up.

Good luck Doug/dvw
I'm sure you'll do very well...

represent FBBO....LOL

Have fun & Happy Moparing

Won't make it this year do to work. Hopefully next year I'll get out a bit more. Good luck Doug!

Results from this weekend. Nice track, awesome prep. The driver was off on Saturday but came around in the later rounds. Managed to made it 6 rds to the final 7 cars. Unfortunately my .017 stripe .026 R/T was a break out (9.118 on a 9.13) against my opponents .019 R/T with a 8.592 on a 8.59. New suspension adjustments resulted in a very consistent racecar. The practice tree is finally paying off 6 out of the last 8 lights between .019-.028. Today went 3 rds and took too much stripe on a double breakout. Chasing a 14.70 car with a 9.14 dial is tough. He had predisposed to dump to hit his dial. I was on the brake but couldn't react to his late dump running +50 mph faster than him at the stripe. Car was awesome though. I ready for Monster Mopar at Norwalk in 2 weeks. Just an example this mornings time trials.
#1 1.302, 5.799, 9.123
#2 1.297, 5.799, 9.119
#3 1.303, 5.800, 9.128

I thought I had a good thing going by running street class and bringing a pretty mild 13.90 car. Unfortunately I red lit in the second round. Things never go as planned!
