Hello Mopar Enthusiasts!
My screen name is Burt36b. I am a Mopar fan. I have a 2001 Dodge Dakota and plan to locate a 1971 Roadrunner to restore. My first car was a 1971 Roadrunner 383 Magnum with manual drum brakes and a 727 torque flight automatic. The body of the car had more dents than you could shake a stick at and the previous owner took it over a curb. I replaced the K member with one from a junk yard. Minimum wage was about $3.10 back then. Now that I am able to afford to restore a car, I would like to purchase a 1971. This time I plan to install power disc brakes, electronic ignition, air conditioning, and a better radio. I plan to drive this thing around a lot! I also owned a 1970 Challenger I had bought with no engine or transmission. I did paint that car Hemi orange and transplanted a 383 into that car from a station wagon. I recently started a new job with a manager that is also a Mopar fan. I think that is what got me the job.
Cheers,
Burt36b
