I have a question about the one you are selling.
I have this one: Part no. P4452790

I mainly got it because from what I understand it's the only edition that has all of the trick mods for all of the popular aftermarket intakes available for the 440 at that time.
Is there any 440 or chassis related info in the edition you are selling that adds to that?

This book has 161 pages on the RB engines.
There are 847 total pages.
Something specific I would not know.

bio, just to be clear, I'm not the OP who is selling the 9th Edition P5249704 manual. I was just commenting that it is an "updated" version and it is worth comparing to info in previous versions.

Edit: I also have the 1980 P4120792, P4286519, P4452709, my 1976 version is lost. They all have somewhat different info in some areas

I think I'm covered.
The Weiand 6bbl intake mods are in the manual I have, although I'm taking the advice of a guy who is and has been running his for 10 years, street mostly and some track action, as well as the mods that are pictured on the Victory Library site by the guy who emailed me back. He got a little better ET and MPH w/his mods than the ones in the bulletin and they are easier to undo, which I would if I get F&B to do their EFI/DPI system, which makes it a "dry intake".

I find these books just shy of excellent.
What stops me from giving it the full 5 stars is its only and understandable problem. It is Literature by the company for the company with almost only there company parts.

So it gets a 4.9999 star rating.

Some people, why this is I’m not sure, consider the book a BS book and only propaganda. I followed there instructions and speed tip section only with 100% Success.

Perhaps other people are comparing old news against the latest and greatest new fangled part? IDK.

Ya, they keep their manuals to what they have that worked for their group, early manuals geared for for street folks that didn't have a lot of knowledge & experience. Many of their early recommendations didn't really work for my combination & use. But good starting point, just not gospel. I quickly decided my cam and intake was far better than what they typically recommended. Although if you went for the "mini express" cam, you would be happy. They did a real good job of getting us all started. the later version the the OP is selling ahs lots of good more current info. Won't produce the optimum, but gives a person a good start.

True. It tells you the in’s and outs but not the finer points of engine building. I delivers a very good and solid foundation to go on.

This book would still do well for the newbie/rookie racer.

The version the OP has for sale is a real good, fairly up to date reference for the engine stuff. Some of the earlier versions included drive train & chassis stuff. The 1980 Direct Connection manual has most of the drive train, transmission & chassis stuff. The 1982 Chassis manual was separate from the 1982 Engine manual. These are all what I call the "Mopar BIBLE" just different versions. All good info, recommendations are "take what you want, leave the rest".

My '75'ish Bible had a yellow cover. Good for the time. Newer versions had more info. Like I said interesting going from thr early versions to the newer.

Twins?? I had the 75 version with the yellow cover, loaned it to a guy with a Hemi car... Never got it back.... Guess he couldn't afford his own...

Me too, loaned to my buddy who was looking for early info. He passed away, so I don't have the '75 version, just many of the later ones.
