I just got my starter back for my 69 Charger from Jim Ridge from Dixie Restorations. He had originally restored it in 2017 and last month it went bad. I sent it back to him to take a look at it and he dropped everything to get it fixed for me ASAP. Turns out it was a bad connection inside that he fixed and sent back to me looking like I got it the first time. I put it in and started right up.

Anyway I just wanted to plug Dixie Restorations as Jim's response and communication are top notch, and they way he stood by his original restoration and warrantied it was awesome!

Let me know if you like the pics. Especially the car... LOL.....

Great looking pix of the B-B hoop setup but looks a little low per regulation height of 10'-0"......can't see enough of the car to say.... BTW....I usually fix my own starters....they are fairly simple devices....the starter drive clutch (aka "Bendix") or the high current solenoid contacts are the most common failure items.

Cool that they took care of you and got it right out. Yep you need to do a little better on the charger pic. :BangHead:  and the hoop is low. Have you been dunking?

Ha yes the hoop is 7.5 for the kids and If I dunked I would have to call an ambulance...... I know I need a better charger pic but the was the last one I took after I changed the White Stripe from Black. If I took one now you would see a lot of snow in the background.

Nice looking Charger. I sold a 69 4-speed T3 Charger project a few years ago and am really kicking myself now.

Mine is an Auto on the Column w/440. Original Drive-train I would kill for a 4 Speed. was yours an R/T? Any pics?

Maybe somewhere, I'll have to look around. Bought it out of California. Not an R/T, but what made it very rare was that it was a factory AC 4-speed car. I think it was in a junkyard at one time because the bottom of the rockers pinch welds were bent up about forklift spacing. Absolutely not one spec of rust on the car, but a lot of dings and dents, pretty rough actually. 2 brothers from Germany came to my place to pick it up. That was very interesting.

Jim Ridge is a fine man... Dixie does top notch service.. Jim is known for going above and beyond. He reproduces the factory appearance perfectly and does excellent work at a more than fair price..
Yes I consider Jim a good friend.

Nice looking 69! Love it!

Ive known Jim for years.

Hands down the beat of the best at what he does

I'm not faulting Dixie or the person's skills and abilities, as the pixs depict his first class restorations. I just fix my own stuff, with NOS parts if possible...
