I have lowered the linkage to the shortest axis points. I can only get both carbs to open 7/8" of the way.
Hopefully from the pics you guys can give me some ideas. Is there a way to adjust the secondaries? It just seems to me just opening one carb by it self seems like the linkage travels lots. I know I can get different rods for the opening ratio like 1:1.

It's hard to see "what all that."

In the top photo, it appears to me that the bottom bellcrank needs to rotate CW, move the arm to the rear, in other words lengthen the rod.

It would give you less pedal throw, / more carb throw to put the rod in the top (outer) hole, leave the pedal cable in the bottom hole

Alternatively, you could gain more carb movement in the second photo by moving the carb rods to the top holes on the top shaft

OK, in the new pics, look at the arrows. Move the linkage attachment on the indicated side (only-not both sides). Try in one spot, move the attachment point AWAY from the pivot point, and then another to see if you get enough travel.DSC07603.jpgDSC07604.jpg

And...
Do NOT move the attachment points indicated with the red arrows.
