I have replaced the A990 grille and headlight doors on my '65 Coronet 500 with stockers, replaced the hood and scoop with a stocker, painted the engine stock turquoise, removed all graphics and had the car repainted, now I want to replace the prostars. Looking for a nice set of '65, '66, '67 dodge "poverty" hubcaps. Also need a set of 15" 4 1/2" bolt pattern stock steel type wheels that will accept the 10" early hub cap. Not looking for any junk. PM me here with what you have.

First, gorgeous car! I dealt with Rally America for my wheels;15X5 front and 15X8 rear. They're a F@#$/C@#$% style, but I think they look right on this car. Wheel Vintiques offers a Mopar steel wheel, and I think they have a 5" width available. I know some of the Mopar only vendors offer the same stock-type wheels.

One more thing...The first set of rears with 4-1/4" back spacing and a 255-70 tire had the tire rubbing. I've got a new set of rears with a 5" back spacing,so that problem is solved. I'm heading to the dentist;I'll get pics out later.

Nice looking....but it's kinda hard to make people believe that car is a sleeper. Everyone expects old Mopars to be bad ***! Now if it was a 4 door.....

Cranky;you hit it! Thing is;people are even more suspicious of a fo-do(especially a Mopar!) nowadays. You could have a Slant-6 under the hood and most folks would be asking if there's a hot motor under there. Ah,reputation...

Why do I want to build a sleeper now? Lessee...how about a 68-9 Satellite(4 doors,of course) with a 500+ inch B mill(so you can say"it's just a low compression 383!") with about 9:1 c.r. and a mild cam and a whole crap-load of weight taken out and,and...a huge nitrous system hidden away somewhere.
