my paperwork shows a 440 ci,66-72 RB block. tom patti

Casting date says 8-13(18?)-69....right? So it most likely went into a 70 model vehicle. Can't read the info pad so that's all I can say about it.

430 blocks cast in 69 were used through 1972.
The 425z doesn't look factory.

Anyway to tell if it's a HP block through the casting?

Would have an HP on the upper pad. HP and non-HP are the same blocks.

Engine pad is a little confusing. Casting #s are like already stated (66-72 440) The serial # stamped along the lower part of the block will zero in on the actual date...
