Anyone know what the bolt size for the motor mount through bolt is? This is the main bolts that connects the motor mount to the k frame mount.

7/16-14(coarse thread), 4" long
That's for the regular biscuit-type mounts.

this is the style mount I'm referring to. I need the bolt that goes through here. I swear I need to quit exposing new issues on this car. I pulled the alternator the other night which in turn required i pull the radiator because the alt bolt was too long. Anyway in doing so I exposed a direct view to the motor mount and found it was missing the bolt on the passenger side. I also pulled the main drive pulley to find that the balancer elastomer was cracked and coming apart. Every time i pull one part off i find 4 more I have to replace. by the time im done everything on this car will be brand new.

Yep that's a biscuit. The bolt I referenced is the one that threads into that nut welded to the one side in your picture. And don't freak out about the hole on the other side being bigger than the bolt, that's how they make 'em..

Ok thanks for clarification. i was wondering about the bolt hole size. Last night i tried some 1/2 inch bolts but none would thread. anything smaller looked to small for the hole.

Cut that damn welded on but off and get you 2, 1/2”nc x 4 inch grade 8 bolts and 2, 1/2” nc Nyloc nuts. The factory hole will allow that 1/2” bolt so why not use it? I do, it helps keep the engine from torquing over so much.

I always wondered why the hole opposite the nut was so big. Last weekend I put a set of Moroso solid mounts in my Road Runner. They don't have the nut welded on, so I did just what you mentioned and used 1/2" bolts. Seemed like the right thing to do to eliminate the slop.

Isn’t it funny how great minds think alike?
