The 2 bolts that bolt through the mount AND the K-member on my 71 charger are pretty chewed up in the thread area. Anyone have a source for replacements? I want to find similar bolts that have the "helper tip" on the end instead of just going to the hardware store and getting grade 5/8 bolts that match length and thread pitch.

Just use some grade 8 bolts and your set.

But these motor mount bolts have a narrow, unthreaded tip on the end to help find the hole on the other side and get you lined up and threaded.. I'd really like to replace with the same kind.

I have a couple of the correct sets if you want. PM me if interested. Cheap and they are the correct ones. Grade 8 isn't the way to go although in the big scheme I suppose they might do. But I wouldn't use grade 8....

If ya want one style, then use the ones cr8crshr is offering.
Also, nothing wrong with a grade 8 bolt. My polyloc mounts came with them, so they are plenty strong for holding down an engine, even an elephant hemi.
