Ok I don't know anything about B-bodies, I don't even own one yet either. But i am trying to learn prior to buying so I can be ahead of the game. I am look to get a 68-70 wagon so I will focus my questions there. Ok if the car has a 318 factory the K-mamber is the same right? Ok so I can just get the correct motor mounts for a 440 and it will drop in? What year brackets that bolt between the motor and mount will work? Obviously 68-70 will work but will 71-later or 67-earlier work? Sorry for all the questions just trying to learn.

What year mount brackets will work? Reason Im asking is there is a 71ish Satellite Sebring with a 400 in it in a local junkyard will the brackets from it work?

I had a 68 Satellite 9 passenger that started life as a 318/904 and grew in to a 440/727. Use the same K frame. Use the same rubber mounts. Use big block plates, and use the same trans mount.

This exactly what I was wanting to know. Thanks

There is a 68 Fury wagon near me with a 440 in it, those will work right? I am planning on picking up the drivetrain from it when I reenlist in October.

68 Fury is a C body, and I'm not sure the motor plates are the same as a B body

Been a long time since I torn down a C body but I iirc, the brackets, or plates are the same. If you want to save yourself a few bucks, I have some laying around....and yeah, a V8 K frame will accept small or big block. Hemi K's are different in the mount area. In 70, a change was made for the sway bar. There have been subtle changes made over the years and they have different part numbers but 66 (65's places the engine forward more) up to I think 72 interchange and all E body K's will too.
