Okay guys so in my '73 charger 318, I set up an MSD Pro Billet Distributor and an MSD 6A box to go with it. I'm more than happy with the results with the Chilton manual specs (7° btdc initial), she fires up before the first crank of the starter, sounds like it should, but I'm determined to get every ounce of performance I can out of this ignition system without having detonation issues. My only mods are 4 bbl Eddy intake with Eddy carb, true dual 2.25" exhaust, and of course full MSD ignition. No cam, stock 8.5:1 (ish) compression ratio, no NOS (yet[emoji13]). Anyone else have a similar setup and have played with the supplied springs and bushings with noticeable gains? Appreciate it in advance, guys.
