My 1966 Charger

Its been a really long journey with more time, money, love, time, money, money, money, money, time.....poured into the car.

Had a bad accident in the middle of it and almost lost my leg (side of barn fell on me and crushed me).

Im sure you seen me whining about DVAP Desert Valley Auto Parts but it is what it is. Finally in paint.

Still needs cut and buffed but here she is. Cant wait to get it out in the sunlight cut and buffed.

LOL and so not only will it be a "different" mopar at the car show or as my mopar buddy calls them "the LESS beautiful mopar" but it will also not be white, red or black as 99% of these "less beautiful" mopars are....when you see them.......

I love them and think the are the BEST looking mopar but then again, Im biased.

Yes it is. Maybe either you or me for our next project we paint our car like the fruit stripe gum with every color mopar had for that year.Now there's an idea.

Funny that you say that,cause i was thinking the exact same thing.Maybe even put a trailer hitch on for a trailer for the rest of the colors.

Looks great man!! Sure hope that leg gets better! Having this looking like this should help you forget some.. Easy to say i know and i hope you do show us when its complete.. Im a little of the same but with me its i love them all, i cant think of any Mopar i don't like for any particular reason lol, My first one was the 67 Charger. Good luck to you!

I havent really got a name for her yet. The factory color that I stuck with even tho many many many folks were giving me crap about it (all in a laughable matter) is KK1 or atleast the closest modern water based mix you can get to it? lol

I still havent picked a name for her.

Her original california, black plates that are still on her read VVU 096 so maybe thatll help me figure something out.....

Ill keep you all posted.

Way too many Red, yellow, black and lime greens out there now.
