Loved crusing in my rust free survivor last summer & when a friend thought the balancer 10 degree mark was zero while he was tuning in my FHO $400 system, he overtimed it & some pinging made me pull its orig 383 for rebuild. Then while in the garage on jackstands, I redid all the interior weatherstripping & sent the nice seats off for a $2k reso with SMS orig fabric & silver border. Restored & rebuilt the heater, too. The suspension was pulled & all detailed with new leafs (1"higher than stock), .92 torsion bars, new upper control arms, bushings & disc brakes K Frame all repainted nicely. New 15" Cragars & BFG's...on & on the list goes. Paint & body are great, build sheet under the seat, orig certicard, too. Doing great since a glioblastoma brain tumor was removed last Oct, but I can't lift over 10lbs for a while & need to get my Mopars done or sold. Got over $28k in the Belvedere, but don't want to wait till end of summer for the motor to be finsihed & installed (machine work is almost done .030 & square decked, new 440 forged cranked turned down, new ported 915's or 440 source heads, Eddy RPM airgap, etc). So thought I'd post this for some advice. Car's in Calif near Reno, NV.

Very nice, Truth. Not running and driving and not having the engine during selling time(though can be picked up when finished) My guess would be in the 17 to 19K range. To me that's on the high side. Sorry to say that our early B's don't bring much more than 25-29K when completely finished.Market drives this and timing is everything.Just my thoughts.
Old saying,"If you are willing to wait, someone will give you your price."
P.S. I'm in the same boat as you with a un-finished project 63 Belvedere. If lucky I may get 1/4 of the 20K+ that I have invested. It hurts, truth.

You have 28 in the car and labor. Unfortunately you will need to get the car together to even come close to what you want for your car. We never get what we have invested in our cars. Hope you get better soon. God Bless

Thanks Dave & both you guys are right on and we sure do put way more into our cars than we think. Its nice to find no rust, no bodywork or paint needed so maybe I'll sell the 68 D100 first since its close to being finished & the bed back on and get the Belvedere's 431 finished & back in. I remember getting $27k for my Sport Fury 3 yrs ago, so I think $17k is ok for the Belvedere.

Question, who did the interior seats? I can not locate replacement seat covers for my 64 Belvedere?

Thats the only bummer with the Belvedere... that SMS is the only source for orig factory seat cloth and vinyl & the only ones who can remake the door panels, too. They have the little embossed emblem on the back seat, too which I forgot to get. turnaround for the cloth & silver piping was about 10 days. SMS was close to $400 with shipping & local upholstery shop $1600, so $2k for the seats.

You got material from SMS in 10 days?

I just put both on the Sacramento C List, so we'll see what happens....

I try not to think how much I've spent on my car. Just sitting there in my garage makes me Smile. Hang in There.

Well, sold the Belvedere to the perfect buyer who wants to keep it original except for the stroker 383. Now its time to finish the D100 for Hot August Nites. Maybe then I'll get what its worth & enjoy some cruises, too.

It was a nice car and the buyer got a really good deal....best of luck with the D100.

Thanks & maybe one of these days after my truck's gone, I'll be looking for a Sport Fury. Sure miss my black & red one.
