Thanks. Yes same color. This version has SS springs, Dana 60 w/ 3.54 gears, Keisler Tremec 5 speed and a crate 472 w/ single 4bbl. During the re-do I had the trim redone, SS grille conversion, the engine redone with a bump in compression, the cast iron heads ported and a solid flat tappet cam spec'd by Dwayne Porter and added a cross ram with holleys. She is still coming together. Here are some current pics.

Thanks so much for the compliments. I am not one to post pics but I have been sponging off members of this site for years. The tech and experience are invaluable. I also have to thank FBBO member 2059 whose 64 330 build was inspirational and he went so far as to measure his carb height-to-SS hood clearance for me.
Yes and thank you. I swapped them to see if they would perform better or differently. Do you foresee any issues? My engine builder didn't feel there would be any but I'm open to hearing any experienced opinion. The engine idles smoothly now, however I haven't had the chance to seat the rings or put a load on it. I am not too concerned with exactness. ? 65DODGE those are tall air cleaners what hood scoop do you run?
Are you using the crossram linkage or something custom my cars not a exact clone of anything just stating that the carb linkage hooks to the carbs with the carbs reversed from how you have them it looks like if you are using the crossram linkage for that setup unless I'm missing something I'm looking at on yours still beautiful car and engine just want to help you if I can avoid problems I run a slightly taller than stock hemi scoop on mine but haven't fitted the hood back on yet but I can make some tweeks to the air cleaner bases if need be to gain some clearance
Thanks Darter6, barnfind and again coloradodave. 65DODGE I'm using the AR Engineering crossram throttle linkage with a Lokar cable from the pedal. The AR Engineering piece looks sweet and has a smooth operation. I appreciate the help from experienced people here. I've had a 440 sixpack and a SBC w/ 2 4bbl so I have a thing for multiple carbs. As for my air cleaner setup I took a Summit racing 2-4bbl aluminum piece and stretched it 5" and will have K&N make a custom filter element. I do prefer the stock chrome piece but for now this will do.
The warm weather has provided the opportunity to return to the garage. So I fond out the hard way the why the the Race Hemi cars had the passenger-side shock tower inverted. My valve cover gaskets on both covers leaked oil when I fired the engine so I went about changing out the Super Performance gaskets (3191) which are for machined gasket surface with cast or fabricated valve covers, with the Fel-Pro 1629's that the crate engine came with. The Fel-Pro's are thicker (3/32") and fit the chrome covers better. I also decided to swap out the Allen-head bolts the engine builder used with the stud and nut assemblies the crate engine came with. The driver's side cover removal required removing the hydraulic throw-out bearing reservoir and loosening the Wilwood master from it's mount which provided enough movement for the cover to clear. The passenger side cover would not be so easy. I finally loosened the passenger side engine mount and raised the engine enough to clear the cover-to-shock tower area. But not without scratching the paint. After having the car painted, engine bay included it really hurts to have scratches in it but I will address it in the spring. I can now periodically start the engine throughout the winter.
