My 65 Coronet

Been working on this car for over 2 years. Car has about 15 1/8 miles passes when 6.50 @106 mph 1.42 60 ft. This thing is a pig weighed in at 3655 with 185 lb driver. Just put new DA shocks all they way around and have not tested it yet. Has a 512 ci motor with indy heads and 727 with Dana. No fiberglass also has a rear seat.

Your car is 300lbs lighter than mine. Without me in it, my 500 weighed 3941. Be interesting to see where the extra pudge is.

Dragman what gear and converter is in the Coronet. It's got a great 60'.

Still has alot left in it. I am putting DA shocks all the way arpund and putting a vacuum pump pump on it. Still haven't turned a svrew on motor yet. Hope to race it again in a few weeks.

Will be interesting to see how much more you find in it. The DA will help. I have them but I haven't gotten enough passes in yet to find the right set up.
I'd love to see the 60' that you already have. Not sure I'll get there with my set up, being a 5000 dynamic converter and 4.10s. I'm also running the indy 440-25 with 2 750 eddies. I do have a Super Victor here and AED 1050 Dom to compare to, once I get the car consistent I'll make the swap. Make sure to let us know how you made out.

When I had my motor on the dyno, at the end we added a vacuum pump and made a pull. It didn't change the numbers and I was happy to see that.

Plenty of places to lighten it up. 3345lbs with 195lb driver, mega block, fire system, 2 batteries, fuel, full interior minus the back seat. All steel except the hood. Yours runs good already. Imagine if it gets lightened up.
