my 65 gold satellite progress.

hi I drove my 65 satellite for the first time yesterday with the 3 deuce set up. it runs great! it was a difficult set up never having done one before. it has 3 Holley 2 bbls. and a manual choke. the choke knob was installed where the rear speaker reverb switch was the radio is going to be vintage radio where they use the org. case and put new am/fm guts in it. they told me no reverb because it will burn up the new unit. stroker motor build to followat a later date 396 c.i. on pump gas. speaking of gas it just dropped again to $1.85 9/10 love it:hello2::headbang:

That intake had to be hard to find and pricey. If I find one reasonably priced I will do the same thing. Car looks great!

I got the manifold and carbs. for under $400.00 at a swap meet in Conroe Tx. 2 weeks later one was on craigslist Dallas and they were asking $1400.00 I was lucky. I've seen 2 more on e bay @ 2 months ago for about $800.00
