Just after HS, my old 69 RR 440 4 speed STR6, man I loved that car..

Opening up the memory vault tonight huh? I didn't even take picture of most of the stuff that I had when I was younger. I had a hemi 69 roadrunner black on black column shift auto bench seat. The only pics I have are polished aluminum pieces that are sitting on my bed and a half apart motor in the engine compartment. I'll have to post those pictures.

Meeps no oval air cleaner, it would have had to only be like 1-1/2 " element & nobody made them back then, it had a couple of cheapo little ones with drop bases, it was a Air-Grabber N-96, Buckets, 4 speed {no console} 8 track, optioned car too... I miss that car, almost as much as my 1st 68 Charger R/T, that I got in 1974... Later traded it {the 69 RR} for a 81 Omni Funny Car {minus engine & trans}, from a guy in Richmond, he was deathly afraid of the car, it was near new too...

Gotta love the extra clear plug wires you could get back then, to match the clear gas lines.

Here's one for you. I got this 31 years ago for $1000, then gave it this paint job. It's a '72 with no rust on it at all anywhere. 455 H.O. I found out last year that Pontiac only made 33 of these. Not a GTO, they didn't make a convert that year, it's a LeMans Sport.

Thanks for the kind offer, but I'll step up here soon & get another scanner, I was just experimenting, got carried away, got frustrated wanted to share them...LOL... I found a bunch of photos of my girls, my old dogs & my 40th also my 50th birthday too, a bunch of family stuff, a few golf outing with old football pals & another few with 3-4 generations of my family or just me golfing in Rancho Murieta etc., maybe 100 photos, I'm going to save digitally... Thanks thou...

That Lemans Sport is freaken' sweet, I'm not sure I've ever seen a 72 455 Vert, I was raised by a Pontiac guy, my step dad Bob, who was who taught me allot & he got me into racing, drug me with him all over the west coast as a 6-7y/o to 18 y/o, he was into Pontiac's {64-70 GTO's & 67-69 Firebird's}, Mopar guy & old 30's - 50's Fords too....
