Here's a VERY short glimpse of my Coronet in a Pennzoil commercial shot last year, (you can see my car at 8 seconds....just to the right of the '48 Dodge). The most ridiculous thing about the commercial is the day they were filming they shot my friends AAR Cuda, the '48 Dodge and my Coronet...and they spent a half hour on each car....well they completely edited my friends AAR out of the commercial!, and chose to focus on the 4 door flat head six powered '48 Dodge?, I think the AAR would have been waaay more deserving, oh well!.
The most obscene part was we were paid $500 each for 3 hours of sitting around and eating for free.

Awesome. Is too bad they didn't show the AAR. Would of make more sense but what the heck still walked away with your pockets and stomachs full

son of a biscuit!! ive seen that commercial a few times! that's way cool

Yeah it was pretty cool being a part of it, we got to the location at 5am, (10 miles from my house) where they were already set up...they put our cars into position, the sun came up and they began filming right away.....they were extremely efficient for sure, they were done with us by 8am. They then packed up and went to the next location where the Dodge Stealth driving shots were filmed, it was kinda funny they wanted Dodge Stealths for the driving shots, the company that supplied the the Stealths ,(there were 2) had just finished painting the cars 2 days before....(they needed 2 because the mechanical condition of the them was so bad!).

i would like to share my brush with Hollywoodness if i may lol

i met Dennis Farina--RIP- super cool Man--a couple years ago two doors down from my work. He was at a diner filming for a movie (The Last Rights of Joe May). So I hung out there for a little and he came up to me and said, "Hi, I'm Dennis Farina." Im like, "No **** you are!!" He laughed his *** off and we had coffee and I hung out with him for good while. he was a down-to-earth guy (100% Chicago Guy!)...they sure dont make them like him anymore. :headbang:

I was more concerned that my buddies AAR Cuda' wasn't used.....it should have been the main car featured. Thanks, it was pretty cool otherwise.
