I thought I posted pics of that car here...I guess not, i'll look through my pictures and post more of it. We have soo much car stuff going on here every week... That I probably take at least 200 pics week, pretty sure the Mopar guys here wouldn't appreciate Chevies, Fords....and pretty much everything under the sun...let me know what you wanna see. That Mustang by the way is a factory Cobra Jet 4 speed car

X2 and some of that stang setting next to it. Whatcha got? Lay it all down brother

There are plenty of guys here who like all cool cars not just our chosen ones. Me i'm fond of Torino's, Fairlanes, and Mustangs

Nice to see many live in areas where you can still drive your rides in November. Some of us have had snow already.

I had a 69 Torino GT 390 4 speed in high school, sold it to buy the GTX, man I loved that car!

I agree we need more pics of that bird.

That's sweet man. When I was 16 and scouring the countryside for a 69 Road Runner I almost gave up after awhile as I was finding Torino's but no RRs. I as seriously thinking about a Red 69 Torino GT fastback but stayed the course and found the 70 RR not too long afterward.

Then this for you Tallhair. This guy was at my local cruisenight every week but could never nail him down to talk to him about his car

Here'a '69 Cobra Jet/4 speed Torino that was at our shop last Friday, it's an original paint & interior car. The customer has owned it since 1992....funny thing is he bought it from John Calvert of "Cal Trac", John bought it to take out the 428,for a race Mustang he was building. Our customer paid $1,300 for it..
With the original trans attached, since he only had 427's lying around, that's what he put in it. Most recently he installed a Tremec 5 speed...this is why we were IMG_20131108_093932862_HDR.jpgcalibrating it.

Did we just hijack a SUPERBIRD thread with Torino's?? hahaha

Photon I thought the exact same thing when I first saw it

I'm thinking he won't :)

I don't mind at all....always liked the Torinos, ('68-'71), I used to own a '70 Torino GT convertible that was highly optioned, 351 4 barrel Cleveland, auto. console, Shaker hood, pwr windows, power disc brakes, a/c. etc.

This car was also featured on "The Car Show" a few years ago, where they took it on a few laps at Willow Springs. Plus it's also a Hotchkis Sport Suspension test car, being equipped with their components.scs biscayne, brandon b day 152.jpgscs biscayne, brandon b day 153.jpgscs biscayne, brandon b day 154.jpgscs biscayne, brandon b day 156.jpgscs biscayne, brandon b day 157.jpgscs biscayne, brandon b day 158.jpgscs biscayne, brandon b day 159.jpgscs biscayne, brandon b day 160.jpgscs biscayne, brandon b day 161.jpg
