Looking for a 65 Dodge Coronet 440/500 two door body. Thinking about building a Altered wheelbase car. I don't want to take a "nice car" and hack it up for this project. Just need a good solid tub and doors. Does not to even be a roller.

Well if it turns out like your last two, it will be over the top!

Have you thought of a theme, or just plain Jane?

Weve seen a couple of people useing a four door to make one and they made it look kind of easy. You can pick up a four door cheaper and they normally are in good shape.

With your knowledge of these cars and your attention to the details, this would be an awesome build for you and I would love to follow along as those cars really interest me.

Probably make this one just like how they came from the "factory" using the stock K frame etc.

actually I did not think of using a 4 door but why not most of the rear of the 2 door will get hacked up anyways. Good thought Thanks

Here's my current race project! Hit a snag! My painter is laid up with some health issues recently. It was to be fully paint by now and on its way over to the race shop for the final mechanicals! Well it's a month and a half behind! Oh well that's how it goes some times. Main thing is the guys health getting better!

Wow looks great. What color are you doing it in?

Here is the one I started and had to "table" while building a bigger garage. Not sure when I'll get to finish it...it's not really for sale but may be depending what your looking for???
1st pic is when I got it...last 3 when I put it in the trailer for storage...

I have a lead on one.................. going to look at it next week. What price range?
It's a 2 door hard top.

Anybody know if all 12 of the cars were painted white with tan interior or were they in various color combinations?

I believe all the factory 12 were built off of an A990 car supplied by Chrysler which would of been white/tan...but those bodies were not used...the actual cars were built off a non-finished body shell off the assy line with the engine/trans/ rear end/suspension/ interior from the A990 car robbed off the A990 car to complete the race car. All the fiberglass parts supplied were dark grey or black...so all the done cars would of have to been painted by the racer to their colors once they got them.
That is my guess anyway...
