My oldest son Rocco has 2 rare genetic syndromes (Prader-Willi Syndrome, and XYY - an added male chromosome). The local Fox news here in Philly caught wind of him and his buddy Tyler and did a piece on them highlighting some of the treatments they get, particularly hormone replacement (testosterone and HGH). Here's the news piece:

http://www.myfoxphilly.com/clip/10687165/boys-born-with-abnormal-chromosomes-thrive-from-innovative-therapy

They mention the frequency of cases of Rocco's condition as 1 in 72 Million, but that's just a guess. There's been only 1 other documented case of both syndromes together. We hit the genetic lottery.

In any case I wanted to share the piece with everyone. Maybe you know someone out there like this and could use the help and direction we're getting from the Foundation and the Doctor featured in the news piece.

Thanks everyone.

My daughter lived in Wynnewood when she first got married, she now lives outside Philly in NJ and im going to tell her about this and your son. Have you been to Chops or St Chris's were they any help? God Bless your family.

Good story. Best wishes to your kids and also to you and your wife. Sounds like she's a saint!

On an unrelated note, that anchor babe is smokin' hot!

Rocco spent 3 weeks in CHOP after he was born. At the time they were very conservative in terms of treatment and we stopped going there. We've been using AI Dupont for the past several years to much success with medicinal help. Now this Doctor as well.

Thanks RC. And Jenn Fredrick is actually a friend of my wife's. Yes she's a looker. I'll let her know she has B-Body Mopar fans. ;)

My wife (who I think is even hotter) was actually featured more on the piece that aired last night, but that one isn't posted on the site today.

Your wife is VERY attractive, but because I try to show class (every once in a while), I refrained from commenting.

My wife wasn't in that link. That's Tyler's mom Melissa (also a hot wife).

Here's a pic of my wife (actually my whole family including my ugly mug).

Nice family & interesting story, I wish you all the best
& the best of luck with the continuing/ongoing medical issues &
I hope your family stays safe & healthy in the future...

Nice story! You have a great looking family, and it is nice that Tyler and Rocco have become good friends. In my opinion, having a good friend (or a few) is probably one of the most important aspects in life.

Rock on Rocco!
