I thought Id post some pics (sorry theyre pretty crappy) of my stereo in glovebox install. There isn't a whole lot of room behind the glovebox on my 67 belvedere so I was limited to where the stereo went, but I have a remote and Ill be listening mostly to an ipod with aux hook up so it should be OK.

Its basically 1/4 inch MDF with a few L brackets bolted to the stock glovebox holes and a pocket kit from crutchfield's.

Cool set up, remote stereo now is one thing i wish i would have bought. Looks great to!

No I don't think so, but I'll have a cable for the ipod under the dash, so that will minimize needing to open and close it. I just didn't want to cut the dash or hang it under the dash, so this I think is the best compromise with out it being seen.

Hey ron73. I bought this cd/mp3 player at best buy for $60 and YES the remote works through the glove box door.
