I've read a few posts with varying opinions on other MOPAR sites regarding the mylar window guides for '66-'70 B Bodies.
The original ones on my '66 Belvedere are not in the best shape and I'm looking to, possibly, replace them. What I've read is this...
Repro guides do not fit properly without extensive trimming, and even then they bind.
The plastic 'H' clips also need trimming or sanding for width.
A set can run as much as $100 (for a couple plastic guides and 4 clips)

As these seem to be an issue with old MOPARs has anyone had any luck with repros. If so, who is the preferred supplier for these parts.

Appreciate any advice.

I'll be watching this thread.. I bought new ones from Year One if I remember correctly and they sucked, hard to roll up and down then after only 5 years the driver side one is gone! I assume it ripped at the T holes and is laying in the bottom of the door.

I don't remember the part number, but a place to check for NOS is "Len Dawson Mopar Parts". If you don't have the PN#, you can always email a request. I have gotten various parts for my '69 thru the years, and he has been awsome.

Last time I checked with Len Dawson he didn't have any, but it can't hurt to check again, the part number is #2932230.

Thanks so very much to all.
So what I’m getting here is try to find NOS because the repros are junk.
Thanks again for the help and part number!

I think the aftermarkets all come from the same manufacturer and distributed to dealers. They will work, but you have to do exactly what the directions tell you. The channels that the plastic glides travel in MUST be clean. Use a paper punch to make the holes for the plastic guide pins. I used plenty of silicon spray to lube the channels during assembly. If your old plastic guides are still good, you may want to use them instead of sanding the new ones.. Probably a good idea to have a helper. Good Luck, and BE CAREFUL!............................MO
