Alrighty, I know the green and the brown wire are for the alternator, but I can't seem to find where the blue w/yellow stripe wire goes. All three are together but the blue one is a few inches longer than the other two. I have a wiring diagram, but can't find it anywhere on it. The car is a big block 76 Cordoba.

What port on the bulkhead connector does it go to before going inside? I can't find any blue with yell stripe on any of the wiring diagrams just a light green to the front lights but turns into a black /green at the front.

I'll trace it back tonight when I go over to the old girl. It's weird, there's nothing that it could reach that I haven't already accounted for unless it had something to do with the AC which I got rid of.

Could be AC. one of those that changes at the bulkhead.

Ah, I have the compressor in the back of my truck here at work, I should go check it out.

EDIT: On second thought, I don't think it's quite long enough to reach the compressor, but I'll go look anyway.

does car have an idle stop solenoid , its not the wiring for that is it

Just went out and looked at the compressor, there's a pigtail that's a few inches long coming out of it that looks like the B/Y wire might plug into. Mystery solved, I think lol.

I just realized that I have a buddy with a 76, and though it's a small block, I'm hoping that the wiring is the same. I'll get him to take a look when he's home from work.
