N safety switch hook up

I know the center pin on the switch gets hooked up to something but to what? I was going by the directions that came with my Cheetah shifter and it shows the center pin wire going to the starter solenoid so I did that but it still started/turned over in N.

How do I hook this up? Is there something that I am missing? How do you guys have yours hooked up?

It's supposed to be able to start in neutral and park....just not in any of the gears....

How stupid am I! I knew that. I have no idea what I was thinking? I will go and put the car in gear and try and start it. All that time and effort to take pics and post this and I could have just stopped and thought about it some. Just so use to things not working just figured I screw this up too.

No big deal. I had a car down so long once. Put the new motor in it, had friends over for the break-in, big party! I turn the key, and nothing!!!! An HOUR of troubleshooting later.......I had forgotten that you had to push the clutch in to start it!!

I think if anyone says they've never done something that made them feel 'small' is lying. Hey, I set a car on fire once because of a real dumb move. Luckily, I was able to put it out without doing any damage which totally amazed me! Talk about a mood swing that was lol

Well I put the car in 3rd and lo and be hold the DARN thing turned over:icon_axe:

So now I am lost/confussed

Will it start in any gear including neutral?
