I just completely disassembled the Air box on my 70 Super Bee to do a thorough cleaning and repaint. It looks like the three pieces were held together by some sort of black silicone adhesive. What is it, and where do I get it? Thanks.:confused4:
I'm not aware of any adhesive on the Air Grabber and those are very similar in construction. If you did find some black goo it's likely not silicone but rather a butyl rubber compound or duct seal. Maybe just get some 3M strip caulk.
