Hey guys,

Any idea what this bracket is for and what this other thing is?

Mystery Parts.jpg

Thanks!

looks like a pivot shaft for a three on the tree clutch setup to me. Maybe?

I should add that they are from a 1963 Sport Fury with a 318 poly 4 speed.

Ok sounds like the one on the left is a z bar? And based on a quick search a z bar connects the pedal to the clutch. Does that sound right?

Z bar, bell crank. Same thing. Yes. It translates the pedal rod motion to the release fork in the bell housing. The other part is probably the ball stud mount for the frame side.

On the right side one. Notice the square hole? My guess is a bracket for power steering, or alternator, or Air cond. where the square hole is used to tighten a belt...................................MO

I think I've already identified the alternator bracket, its no AC car, so I'm thinking power steering bracket? That would make sense. I found it near the power steering pump.

z-bar, and early B/B power steering adjustment bracket
