Nasty wreck @ the finsh of the Nationwide race in Daytona

Nasty freaken' wreck, parts up into the grandstands, a couple fans hurt, drivers all OK, 190+mph car flying into finsh areas line catch fence, cuts car off @ the firewall... Damn, took out allot of the field/cars too... I hope all the fans are all OK..

19 fans injured, 4 went to one hospital & 15 to the Daytona trauma center, only 1 person went to sugery... sorry no links

Tony Stewart Won the race, #32 Kyle Larson was the car that went into the catch fence & car was cut off at the firewall, amazingly he's fine... 11 cars taken out/wrecked

freaken' nasty stuff, the engine ended up right next to the fiish line/catch fence, on the inside of the pole that seperated the front half of the #32 car, that tire went along damn way...

Saw that on the news. When parts start flying, they don't care what flight path they take. I think last week just before the season started, nascar was talking about how to make the sport safer. Hope everyone comes out ok. This is definitely a story to tell the grandkids.

Just "FREAKIN" scary. Hope all are OK. Just gotta' say I am not a fan of this NASCRAP stuff they call racing at all. Roundy Round, left hand turns, ain't my idea of "Racing". I tend to gravitate to the Road Racing side as it requires greater skill than what is "Hyped" as "Racing". Don't even care to watch either. Just me I know...But it won't change my view so I'm stuck with it...Tuck

1st reports were way wrong, tire & upper/lower control arm ended up in second deck seats {damn}, #'s of injured also has been updated, 28 people total hurt, 14 went to hospital, 2 were in taken to intensive care unit, not life threatening issues, both out of ICU & stable now, 14 went to care center at track, for minor injuries... sounds like all will be OK... probably be some law suits too... unfortunately that's the world we live in now...
