Going to have my benches recovered locally vice buying the covers. Can any of you post some interior pics of both front and back benches? Doesn't matter if it's stock or not just want to see how it looks. Thanks.

Here are some of the originals:

Front has a seat cover on it, sorry.

Here are the same after recovering:

Looks great! Seems like everyone keeps the insert theme even when doing something custom.

Going to be going through this soon also. How does the price of a local shop doing a custom cover compare to the grand i would have to pay for the legendary stuff?

The shop a couple friends used said $500 for new foam and black vinyl on front and back bench seats. Both friends cars came out very nice. I asked another shop and they said mild to wild starting at $300 for "economy" covers for both bench seats and up depending on how nice/custom I want it. Any commercial restoration shop here wants $1000 to "do it right" but I'm not restoring it. Being in San Diego there are plenty of off the beaten path shops with south of the border names, but have very good craftsman.

Forgot to post what's in there now. Actually it's gutted with bare floors now, just the front buckets. I'm digging the diamond pleats.

Wow those are kinda cool looking. You could prob sell them to a rat rod guy and he'd be stoked. Any idea what they are out of?

They came in the car so no idea. They could be regular buckets with shaved foam but no idea really. Anyone recognize the seat back brackets and lever? I half thought about putting them on short rollers in the garage and use them for shop stools.

I think my 64 Bel seats were Legendary covers

Those look really good. Wonder if the black covers are cloth insert with black vinyl surround? Think I want it full vinyl even if it's cold and slippery.

mark42202, those look comfy!

Wow, I thought I was looking at pictures of my old seats for a minute there 62Savoy..
Exact interior that was in mine before I had it redone.

I like those door panels too 62Savoy. Clean lines. I don't think I'm going to put the armrests back on mine. It's a manual so left hand will be on the wheel all the time anyway.
