What engine/trans/rear combo do you have?

The Engine Size and Rear End have nothing to do with the Drive Shaft. You could have a Slant 6, 318, 383, 383-4Barrel, 440, 440 Six Pack, or a Hemi..

Recently bought a 70 Charger with out a drive shaft. Where can i find one?

Your best bet is to go to a local driveshaft shop and have one built. It's not that expensive and you get it just right for your application no matter what the set-up is on the car. They will give you a sheet to use to get the measurements. You can also chose if you want it beefed up, stock or ???? Mine was around $200 including the u-joints. I went from a ball and trunion to a slip joint type trans in my '64 Dodge.

I always have mine sent out for Balancing and Heavy Duty Spicer U-Joints installed on my restored cars.

The member was mis-guided when he thought the motor/rear end made a difference. Transmission/length; definitely; otherwise I've never seen any other styles. Chrysler was way to cheap lol and nearly all '68-70 b-body drivetrain parts are the same based on motor/transmission.

Dana 60 and 8 3/4 need different driveshaft lengths, so knowing what drivetrain combo wouldn't be a bad idea.

Agreed......Not only are the drive shafts different for 7.25, 8.75 & 9.75 rear ends. They are also different for Dodge & Plymouth Models. If you post your engine size and rear ends size I can provide you with the factory drive shaft diameter and length.

Disagree......do some research. You will find there are several different length drive shafts & diameters for each year of B body.

Driveshaft info

See attachment for info on 68-70 driveshafts. As you will see there are many different combinations.

What's the shaft size for a 70 RR, with 440 and a Dana 60? is it the same as a 69 RR? Also mine came with 4.10 gear ratio.
is it either a 50.39" and 3" or 50.96" and 3.25"

thanks, Joe
