I'm looking for a nice used reaction shaft support for a 727 trans from 1967-1970. I am hoping to avoid buying a whole trans just to rob this one part from it. PM or email to: [email protected]
Here is a pic of what it looks like, it is attached to the front pump and the input shaft goes through it.

Yes, it is an early support. I'm going to use the later style torque converter in an early cable shift trans, so I'm swapping out the coarse spline input shaft and reaction shaft support for the fine spline model with the narrow bearing.that looks like an early support the later ones have larger bearing surfaces and wont interchange unless you change front drum also

you will have to change the front drum and the rear drum as well as the support
be mindful of the thrust bearings that sit on the output shaft between the rear drum and output shaft they are different between early and late
an early rear drum will not interchange with late support
Thanks for pointing that out, I had overlooked it. Guess that's one more part I need. I really appreciate the info.
