Need Help 67 Coronet hit by drunk driver need parts

Hello it is a sad story i brought over our 67 coronet my mom left me and my dad after see passed and was going to get the seats done and new carpet for my dad as a xmas gift thought it would be safe out back of his apartment for one night we were watching tv and heard a big crash a drunk driver came down a one way street the wrong way and slammed into our coronet she had insurance but they are so quick to total it because of the parts it needs please i need help getting the parts so i can fix her back up going to need a complete front bumper a passenger side fender grill parts headlight a passenger side tail light bucket any help would be great i don't want to loose the car means so much to us my mom used to work on cars with me and my dad 1 month before she passed she put the master cylinder in the car please need help

That's so sad, I'm sorry to see and hear this. I can't help you with parts but I hope you've learned a very valuable lesson here to never ever park a old car on the street again. Good Luck

Sorry for your loss, the parts are replaceable but the sentiment is not.
Im just starting my project and have some extra grills, buckets and front /rear bumpers...As soon as I'm finished I will probably be willing to part with them.

that sucks sorry hope you find your parts. It was a mess when a kid hit my charger. Took over a month to get the insurance company to take care of it.And I still got screwed.

Just get a Lawyer and the ins. co will pay up..It's not your fault the idiot ran into your car. I work with insurance companies at work often and their fist option is to screw you, the shop, and anyone within range...Get values from Hagerty, previous sales from last three months...etc....ebay parts list w/ shipping, body repair estimate. Never listen to the adjusters B.S. Every time they hand me their estimate, I look through it and laugh,,, start adjusting the times, dollars, parts etc., let them know the history of the car, it has value beyond its material makeup. Then throw in the Lawyer bit... but you gotta do some home work.

Last time the adjuster handed me a check for $700 for my 06 SRT front bumper and both fenders I laughed in his face. Looked over the estimate and he had all junkyard parts on it, told him even if I did let you get the junk parts the paint would well exceed $700. Final bill after my body guy got through with them was over $3500

I've had 2 accidents and my daughter had 1 that were the other drivers fault and we made off really good from the settlements. Check your local laws before doing anything. Here in Colorado you could let them total the car. Giving the cars age you would be able to keep the car with clear title for a salvage price. Fix the car and pocket the extra cash. I've done this 3 times over the years.

Would be a good idea to place a wanted ad in the classified section too for the parts you are looking for as it would probably get more attention.
