So I'm coming close to finishing the install of my e street efi on my 73 roadrunner 318. IM in the process of building a 440 for the car now but really wanted to get this efi working before I dropped the new engine in. I will definitely post a thread on how I went about the install as there were definitely things I've had to overcome to get it installed. The thing I'm working on now is getting vacuum lines that used to go to the carb hooked up there are 2 I'm unsure of that come from a control valve not sure of what. I will post pics of this the 2 lines then options I have from the manual. Thanks guys 1406849431629.jpg1406849490551.jpg1406849535633.jpg1406849586857.jpg

SCRAP all of that original vacuum crap, and just hook this up. Hook it up as follows:

1) Power brake port to the power booster
2) Cap off the Automatic trans port as Chrysler doesn't use one
3) 1/4" Manifold vacuum port to the manifold tee
4) 3/16" Manifold vacuum port to the manifold tee
5) PVC port to the PCV valve in the valve cover
6) 3/16" Timed vacuum port to the distributor vacuum advance

This will be the best and cleanest installation.

It should be part of the NOx Control System.

I have the same Edelbrock EFI system with the sump fuel delivery system on my 71 Cuda 440. It works great. If you need pics on how mine is set up, I can send you some. I had to upgrade to a MSD box to get it to work properly.

The only issue I have with the system is every time you want to start the engine you have to 'prime' the system. Easy enough...just turn the key to the on position and wait 4-5 seconds or until you hear the pump cycle on-off, then turn key off, then start engine. Slows things down a bit. I asked Edelbrock about this and the tech guy said all modern fuel inj cars need this done. Ya right!
