Need help finding brake spring called star wheel lock spring 11 x 3 inch 69 gtx

NEED HELP FINDING BRAKE SPRING CALLED STAR WHEEL LOCK SPRING what the service manual call it. it has 11 X 3 INCH brakes FOR 1969 GTX
rear brakes it has manual adjusters all parts store and rock auto only has listing with automatic adjusters springs which is not the same. this hold the bottom of the brake shoes together and lock the adjusters so they can't turn. the spring is total is about 3 1/8 long

every auto parts store has it.

not one i went 7 auto part stores ,ebay ,rock auto went thur 15 brake part manuals there only have botton springs for automomatic adjuster those spring way to long i got the spring kit for the rest of the brakes is Know who have it let me know

i bought 3 spring kits the bottom springs are way too long there for automatic adjuster i need for manual adjuster, went to napa too. The top springs are fine. All them kits the bottom spring are 3 or 4 inches too long. Please stop tell me there in all kit there not
 
Try a kit for a 65 year drum set up ? Oh and if you can PM me the size I may have two new one's at the shop I will send ya !

order a kit for 11" manual adjusted brakes, not self adjusters or 10" brakes...they are in the kits, you just need to find someone that can look up parts correctly
 
I have quite a few of those original springs available in good used condition they where used on 68's with 11x 3 inch brakes yours must be a very early built 69. I had a 69 GTX here years ago that was built 8/68 and it also had them on. PM me if you still need some
 
I have a drawer full of these things and assorted parts. send me a detailed deminsions and a picture, and a mailing address and if I have one I will it to you
 
Stupid question here......why not convert to the automatic adjusters??? Unless you like adjusting the rears, I would convert.
 
I emailed Rick Ehrenberg which is a mopar expert. He said those parts are no longer available. He recommends switching to automatic vs manual.
