need help lowering a 72 satellite

I believe you want to mess with your torsion bar. Or you can drop a big block in

3/4 inch socket and an impact. Back the adjustment off the torsion bars (bolt under lower control arm) You will need to do an alignment, it messes with the tow adj. but you can go up or down a couple inches.
