Need help with PM's

So somehow I deleted all 15 PM's by mistake. Was trying to make room so I could reply to an add. Any help appreciated

There's no way to bring them back. If you remember who placed the ad type in search there name. Click on avatar once or twice find their posting and search through posts. Edit: Wrong!

That sucks. It happened to me on A bodies and with some guidance I was able to retrieve them. Oh well **** happens. Thanks

The only way to get them back would be if they're in your trash bin and you haven't cleared it out yet.

@Bennoel 10 - follow these instructions...

1. Double-click mouse (or whatever on phone) on Messages icon

2. You will get a Private Conversations box pop up. Click on the TRASH link to the left.

3. You should find your deleted Conversations below.

I've double clicked on the pm icon and I nothing pops up. I'm doing all this on an iPhone as I don't have a computer. Maybe that's the problem ??

Try moving your phone sideways to landscape mode. That makes a difference sometimes on what you see. Is there an add covering up the options?

Yeah I tried that, turning sideways. Gonna maybe try on a real computer at a friend's home. Hopefully I'll get a chance later today. It's the double click thing that doesn't seem to do anything other than the icon (envelope) produce a dull shade of gray around it ??

Not sure ? I have started a couple of new pm's, one to the staff for help and one to the member that I wanted to respond to in the first place. Had too many, so when I attempted to delete a few to make room I deleted all by mistake. So maybe I should delete all new pm's and try to retrieve once I clear the new pm's ????

Start by holding the phone Horizontal -

Press and HOLD the Conversations button - a menu box appears to the right.

Scroll that menu and select "Open in background Tab"

Then click on the Tab icon at the top of your page and select the one that says "(1) Private Conversations" -

Then click on the Navigation box with the three horizontal lines on it - another Menu box will appear to the left this time -

Select "Trash" - and there you should find the missing messages. (Mine shows empty of course)

My phone is a Samsung, so I tries this out and it works - except I cannot retrieve Trash that doesn't exist for my profile.

Getting the guy to Navigation tab is the trick.....but thank you.

This is so easy on a PC - all you need to do is double-click the Messages icon, and it shows up.

No. Just dumped mine, still have the same 406 conversations out of a 1000 that I did before I dumped the trash.
