need help with the build month of my 70 road runner

Ok guys I'm trying to figure out the month my 70 v code roadrunner was built. My fender tag and drivers door is gone any input would be great the only thing I have is the vin number thanks

Fender tag would have that info.

That's the problem the fender tag is long gone

If the engine and trans are original, you might be able to narrow down the period using the assembly dates of those. Post up the numbers you have on those if you can....plenty of experts around here.

Unless you have a broadsheet then, it's difficult. But... if you can get vin sequence numbers lower & higher than yours at the assembly plant, knowing their build dates, you can narrow it down somewhat. Somewhat.

That's going to make it tougher... how about the wiper motor numbers??? That still on the car?

While you're at it...get the numbers off the front and rear screens....they may also help.

No wiper motor and only thing that's in it is the dana,kframe,Windows and the 3 numbers core support trunk gutter and dash and dana has crap welded on it

Well, this is really pushing it....we'll try on the windows - numbers should be on each one.

I will look at them the guy who had it was a really nice guy but did this car no justice and it's a really nice car besides the hack work
