I own a 1968 Dodge Charger. My original long dash pad has on crack in the vinyl. The shape of the pad is still perfect. Has anyone out there tried fixing a crack successfully? anyone found a fix product. The pad is too nice to junk it. I would appreciate any leads any of my fellow Mopar friends can give! Bob Horman

I looked into it, but determined the “as seen on TV fix” would be visible. A dash cap works surprisingly well

I suggest searching for a local Fibrenew. They can do some pretty decent results, in car. Not nos carshow stuff, but as good of a repair as possible.
Maybe try an old dash first

This is an interesting business to hear about, Fibrenew, and good suggestion about trying on an old dash.

Bob, there is one in Orlando Park, close to you.

Good luck from Arkansas, ‘68 Red GTX.

I want to thank all who have contributed info on my problem I am going to try to fix this dash pad. the pad is in real nice original condition, and I would like to keep my car original. The pad is 60 plus years old and maybe I will have to let it die and order a new repo for my car. I will end this post. Again, all thanks for kind words. Bob Horman
