if someone could kindly help me LOL I need a picture of when you open your gas door where the upper filler neck and gas cap are, I have the upper filler neck with the vent tube but there is still an open area that looks like it should have a plate to cover the hole< I borrowed a picture of the gas tank from this site

Bump, that's right. I will look in my archives for a pic, might have one. I cut mine out and shaved the hole in the quarter. Nope, I still have the housing that is stuck to the inside face of the quarter but not the small tray that fits around the neck.

Go here, buy this....http://www.classicindustries.com/product/mopar/parts/mb1683.html

Threw away the ones I had. Too much crap laying around.

That seal is wrong, it doesn't fit 66-67 Coronets. There is nothing there to prevent you from seeing the ground. I think that is because if you spill gas, they want it to drain to the ground. With the cast pot metal top piece, and the oval tube going through the trunk floor extension, the gas filler tube is completely on the outside of the trunk area.

We had a good discussion on this at the Coronet Registry and it was determined to be wrong. I don't know what that one fits, anyone have a 65? A bodies have something similar.

Hope this helps.
