Hello to everyone! I finally bought the car of my dreams: Dodge Charger RT 440 of 1970, DANA 60 3:54, manual with pistol grip. Car is in Florida and there´s a lot of work to do, but I´m really happy.

Now is turn to rebuild the engine, I just got all the parts I need, but I don´t know a specialized shop in Mopars near me...Anybody can recommend a shop for rebuild the engine in Florida?

Thanks in advance!

I know a shop in Fort Pierce where you can get that done!
Goes by the name of Mopar Don.
He also owns a couple hemi cars an original Max wedge car
Nice guy and very knowledgeable been working with Mopar's for years. i've known him myself for about 15 years

A lot of Mopar people have said DVORAC is the place to go.

Passed this place quite a few times, never seen the garage open or anyone there; other than the rusted wagons' outside. Is he still in business? Contact information?

Mopar Don, sounds as if he is worth checking out. Have you had your engine running yet? It looks all original and un molested. Does it run now?

Thanks to everybody for your replies. If the place is near my location (what I´m trying), I would drop the car and do the engine, exhaust and transmission there. Can anybody pass me the Mopar Don contact details? I also heard about ine guy called Joe (Elite Vintage Auto). Which one of these three would you recommend?

You'd be crazy to deal with Dvorak go there once in person or read about him on yellow bullet. Anyway take it up to hemi Haines in daytona

Do you knowJoe, from Elite Auto Vintage? He´s located in Mebourne (moved from NY) and someone recommend me his shop. He does engines, transmissions, rear axles and brakes and that´s exactly what I need right now, a shop that does all that (specially, rebuild engines)...

PM BBcharger500 he is from Melbourne and is connected to the mopar crowd he will or wont know. I lived in Melbourne too short of time to know of anyone and I build my own engines. I did use Matts machine in Melbourne as my machinist a few times with great success.

I did visit DVORAK in person as I have some properties up there. I would not recommend DVORAK.
