need trim clips polara 500

I need the spring loaded trim clips that are 2.5 inches wide for the spears on the side trim. Anyone know where I can find them? What have you used?

try MR.G's Enterprises in Ft Worth TX. I found some clips for my 65 satellite trim and they seemed to work. they have a web site you can order from.

I've seen it done where guys will trim metal so it just slides inside the trim, drill a 3/16" hole in the middle of it, and use a machine screw with a small tac weld on the side of the head to keep it from turning. I've also seen it where there is no tac weld, just the screw through and snugged up. About 22 gauge metal or like that. If you're stuck, that may work for you.

I amin search of the black clips that hold the stainless trim on the side of a polara 500...any help or leads would be great
