Hello - I'm looking for a set of hubcaps for the smaller 9" center steel wheel - 67 and up I think.

Condition is not too important - looking for something cheap I can use for parts to adapt my larger 10" 64 hubcap.

Please let me know what you have and the price with shipping to 93103.

thanks!

I should have a couple of 67 Coronet caps that are decent driver quality...I know I have one very good one......probably will be around 15 bucks to ship to ya.

what are you trying to do?
are you trying to put the 10" caps on 15" wheels? are you running the 14's now?

Thanks guys-

Phil - I am putting the 10" caps on the 15" wheels. I'm working on some wider wheels and pie crust slicks for the back. What I want to do is epoxy the 9" caps inside a set of 10" caps so they fit the wheel's smaller register.

The 14's will stay on the front.

oh yeah that might work... i'll check what i have when i get home... maybe i can even test fit them and let you know if they well work...
where are you getting the slicks from?
have you ever heard of towel city racing tires?

great, thanks Phil!

How funny, I got my tires from Towel City. They are retreads on radial casings. The tires look very nice and the price was really good.

I was looking at the Hurst Racing tires site for months, but they didn't have the size I really wanted or needed. So I found Towel City and they had exactly what I wanted - 29" tall tire & 8" wide.

i also most bought a set from them, i was just going to stick with the 14" size to keep my date coded stock wheels... of course with two other projects i used the cash for something else... i'll try and remember to check those caps tonight...

jeff,
i didn't come up with any spare caps but what you are trying to day might even work, check out these photos, the small cap fits inside the big cap completely...

Thanks again for the help.

jeff,

BWT what are you running for ftont tires and where did you get them and what size are they?
i'm asking becuase today i just found a good used stock (G.U.S.) set of 7.00x14 piecrusts with about 95% tread on them that i'm going to run on the front of my max wedge

check these bad boys out, made in the usa by "highlite" date coded b-65 "Feb 1965" they are NEAR MINT taken off a never dirven 65 t-bird just yesterday... what a deal @ $40.00 for 3 of them.. installed!
two will be front runners and one for a spare tire..

Those look really nice Phil and man what a screaming deal.

The front tires on my car are Firestone Silvertown 7.75x14 and they are are about 27" tall. You can get them at Coker Tire.

I haven't done the cpas yet because I bought a set from a guy and they turned out not to be what he described them as (too big). I keep meaning to look for some but just haven't yet.
