Well, after 3 runs with a 9.07 9.08 9.0, i go into 1st round and embarressed myself with a 9.14.
Thev track went away real bad and i spun off the line. track prep has been marginal for the last month and due to economic times. the track cut back on the amount of compound to cut costs. This was straight from the owners mouth yesterday.
no excuses on my part. it was a great day having fun and no broken parts.
i readjusted my shock settings to compensate for the lousy prep but the 60 foots were a full tenth off.
here is a video of the NENDRA day courtesy of Knights production. He's a great guy who trys to come up a take PROFESSIONAL VIDEOS.
ENJOY

that was my worst light in years. i dont know what happened but i just didnt react. i was thinking too much about how the car was going to react.
You dont know from race to race at lebanon. you can either put it on the bumper or just spin. so being a faster car its a little frustrating setting up your car and trying to prepare for that day of racing.
The track attendance for the day was very dismal.

Our turnout yesterday wasn't that great either, but it was due to the sweltering heat. Last weekend at our big race we had well over 3000 spectators and over 100 cars!!

Racers attendance and spectators was horrible. i think there was 10 guys in test n tune 4-6 guys in extreme 1320x and we had 12 cars.
weather was very good also. not hot at all. track prep really sucked.
I want to dead hook again. This spin and hook **** is the worst. You cant get a consistent run. I hate to sand bag but it looks as though if this continues i might have to change my strategy.

Yes! Great track that I haven't seen bad prep on in the 6 years I've been going. The track always hooks, the track personnel are great, and the racers are top notch. Have you been up here?

come on, between entree fee, fuel, spectator and concessions lebanon can't afford to prep the track. it's the same old story.
